Ripa recorded herself talking about what she calls “a very serious medical problem” while sitting within the physician’s office, awaiting treatment.

“Botox deficiency,” Dr. Robert Anolik says nodding in agreement. “A lot of side effects. Lines, wrinkles.”

Ripa then tells the camera that Anolik has been nervous she goes to the touch him, referencing the Centers for Disesase Control and Prevention’s recommendation of social distancing to stop the spread of COVID-19.

“I appreciate how germ-nervous you’re . These are great CDC rules and that i appreciate it.” Ripa says. “Having said that, during this time we will notice that there’s been tons of worrying. you’ll see it’s written everywhere my face, but Dr. Anolik decided to be brave today and are available into work…to treat my acute Botox deficiency syndrome.”

Ripa doesn’t record her injections, but resumes filming after her treatment.

“What does one think, did I survive?” she asks Anolik.

“We used it all up. Hopefully there won’t be a shortage,” he replies.
