Gisele Bündchen is understood for being private about her family life and marriage to husband Tom Brady. But with the discharge of her new memoir Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life, the supermodel has opened about the events of her life, from the boob job she regrets to having panic attacks during her career. She also wrote about her wedding with Brady, and even delved into how she acknowledged about his ex’s pregnancy.
As E! News reports, Bündchen wrote in her book she met the NFL star on a blind date in December 2006, and that they bonded over their mutual love of family. They both agreed to delay starting a family of their own as both of their careers were in “high gear” at the time.
However, two months into their relationship, Brady told her that actress and model Bridget Moynahan, his ex-girlfriend of two years, was pregnant together with his baby.
“I felt my world had been turned the wrong way up . Needless to mention , that wasn’t a simple time. But it had been a time that caused such a lot growth,” Bündchen wrote, although she never mentioned Moynahan by name.
Jack, Brady and Moynahan’s son, was born in August 2007, and Bündchen called him “a huge gift and a blessing,” and says that his arrival sped up her circle of relatives planning, since they wanted Jack to possess siblings closer to his age.
“With Jack in our lives, our priorities definitely began to shift,” she wrote. “I wanted to be there for Jack and Tom, and do whatever I could to make stability in their lives, and help them to possess an in depth relationship.”
Bündchen and Brady got married in April 2009 and welcomed son Benjamin in December that year. Their daughter Vivian was born in 2012. But adjusting to marriage, motherhood, and a replacement city was hard for her, and she or he said she felt “depressed” and “overwhelmed.”
She eventually was ready to balance her career and motherhood, but she often rejects modeling jobs if she must . “Either Tom features a game , or Benny features a play at college , or even Jack are going to be with us for the weekend, or Vivi features a bad cough,” she wrote. “For whatever reason, the scheduling doesn’t always work… My family comes first.”
